PRODUCT INFORMATION / MATERIALS

Parasiel Gems works primarily with natural earth-mined gemstones selected for their colour, character, quality and suitability for each design.

COLOUR. CHARACTER. INCLUSIONS. GEOLOGICAL HISTORY.

These are not imperfections to be removed from the story of a natural gemstone. They are part of what makes each stone individual.

Natural gemstones may vary in colour, tone, transparency, pattern, zoning, inclusions and internal characteristics. Variations between individual stones are therefore expected and are part of the nature of natural materials.

FAST FASHION

Parasiel Gems does not operate on a fast-fashion jewellery model.
We focus on established designs, natural materials, controlled production and small-batch development rather than disposable seasonal production.
Our objective is to create jewellery intended to be worn, sold and kept.

NATURAL MATERIALS. NATURAL VARIATION.

925 /
SILVER +Â
GOLD
Our current wholesale range primarily uses 925 sterling silver, with material specifications provided for individual products.

Selected products may also be available with 18K yellow or rose gold plating, either as standard options or by request.

Limited collections may also be produced in solid gold, subject to the design, materials and production requirements of the particular collection.

Material and finish specifications are provided with the relevant product information.

NATURAL /
GEMSTONES
We work primarily with natural earth-mined gemstones, selected according to a considered balance of quality, character, availability and commercial value.

Natural stones with exceptional colour, clarity or rarity may command significantly higher prices, while inclusions, colour variation and other natural characteristics are often inherent to the material.

Our approach is to select gemstones that are appropriate to the design while remaining commercially viable for professional retailers.

Where a particular design is produced repeatedly, we aim to maintain a consistent overall quality, appearance and commercial positioning, while recognising that natural gemstones cannot be identical from one stone to another.

The result is continuity without forcing natural materials into artificial uniformity.

GEMSTONE / TREATMENTS
Some gemstones may undergo treatments commonly used within the jewellery industry to improve or modify colour, clarity or other characteristics.

Where relevant to a particular gemstone or product, treatment information will be disclosed in the product description or accompanying documentation.

RECYCLED /
METALS
Where appropriate, Parasiel Gems uses recycled precious metals within its production.

The use of recycled metals allows existing precious-metal material to remain within the production cycle rather than requiring every new piece to rely exclusively on newly mined metal.

Material specifications are provided according to the individual product.

RECLAIMED/
RE-CUT /
STONES
Where appropriate, Parasiel Gems uses reclaimed or previously used gemstones.

Previously used gemstones may be restored, repolished or recut before being incorporated into new jewellery, giving existing materials a renewed purpose.

Natural gemstones can also become chipped or damaged during jewellery production. Where the material and stone quality allow, we aim to recover these stones through careful recutting or repolishing rather than automatically discarding them.

This approach allows suitable gemstone material to remain in use and, in some cases, reveals a new shape or character within the original stone.

DIMENSIONS /
WEIGHT
Dimensions and weights provided for jewellery are approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Measurements may refer to the finished piece, including gemstone and setting, and will be specified where relevant.

Minor variations may occur as a result of natural gemstone dimensions, handmade finishing and normal production tolerances.

Where an item is produced in a limited batch, individual pieces may vary slightly in dimensions or weight while remaining within the intended design and production specifications.

NATURAL /
VARIATION
No two natural gemstones are completely identical.

Variations in colour, tone, transparency, inclusions, pattern, zoning, texture and internal structure are natural characteristics of earth-mined gemstones.

For this reason, an individual piece may differ slightly from a photograph or from another piece of the same design.

For repeatable designs, we aim to maintain a consistent design language, quality level and overall appearance while allowing the natural characteristics of each gemstone to remain visible.

For small-batch and limited collections, variation may be more pronounced and is part of the reason these materials are selected.

Natural variation is therefore considered part of the product rather than a manufacturing defect.

eco /

Our approach is practical rather than based on broad environmental claims.

Where suitable and available, we use production and packaging materials intended to reduce unnecessary environmental impact.

These currently include:

-
citric-acid based pickle solutions where appropriate in jewellery production;
-
readily biodegradable cleaning products for workshop and production cleaning;
-
reduced-impact / more environmentally considerate gold-plating solutions (cyanide-free gold-plating solutions);
-
recycled packaging materials;
Â
We continue to review materials and production methods where practical alternatives are available without compromising jewellery quality, durability or professional finishing standards.

Our aim is not to describe the business with broad environmental claims, but to make practical choices wherever they can be
implemented responsibly.
