Â
Yes. Minimum order quantities and/or minimum order values may apply. The applicable requirements are shown through the wholesale purchasing platform or confirmed before an order is accepted.
Â
Can I reorder the same designs?
Â
Core designs are developed with continuity and repeat ordering in mind.
Small-batch collections depend on the availability of the relevant natural gemstones and may therefore have limited reorder potential.
Â
Why don't all gemstone pieces look identical?
Â
Natural gemstones are naturally variable.
Colour, pattern, inclusions, zoning, transparency and other characteristics can differ from stone to stone. These variations are part of the character of natural materials.
Â
Are your gemstones natural?
Â
Parasiel Gems works primarily with natural earth-mined gemstones.
Where relevant, gemstone treatments are disclosed in the applicable product information.
Â
Do you use recycled materials?
Â
Yes. Where appropriate, we use recycled precious metals and reclaimed or previously used gemstones. Reclaimed stones may be restored, recut or repolished before being used again.

Â
The core range is maintained for continuity, while small-batch collections and new developments are introduced periodically according to gemstone availability, production capacity and product development.
Â
Do you sell directly to consumers?

Â
Â
Â
Â
How should the jewellery be stored and cared for?

Jewellery should be handled and stored with reasonable care, particularly where natural gemstones and polished precious metals are involved.
Â
For best results:
Â
-
Store individual pieces separately where possible to reduce scratching and contact between items.
 -
Keep jewellery dry and away from prolonged exposure to moisture, humidity and direct contact with water.
 -
Avoid direct contact with perfumes, cosmetics, hairspray, creams, cleaning products and other chemicals.
 -
Silver may naturally tarnish over time as a result of exposure to air and environmental conditions. This is normal and can generally be reduced through appropriate storage and careful cleaning.
 -
Gold-plated surfaces require particular care. Avoid abrasive cleaning and excessive rubbing, as plating is a surface finish and may gradually wear with use.
 -
Natural gemstones vary in hardness, durability and sensitivity. Avoid impact, dropping or contact with harder materials.
 -
Do not use aggressive jewellery cleaners or ultrasonic cleaning unless the suitability of the method has been confirmed for the specific gemstone and treatment.
 -
For cleaning, use a soft, clean cloth and appropriate gentle cleaning methods suitable for the particular material.
Â
Where a product contains a particularly delicate, treated or unusual gemstone, specific care recommendations may be provided with the relevant product information.
Â
If you are unsure about the appropriate care of a particular item, please contact Parasiel Gems before applying a cleaning treatment.
Â
JEWELLERY GOES ON LAST. AND COMES OFF FIRST.
There is a wonderful old saying: jewellery goes on last and comes off first.

There is good reason for it. Perfumes, cosmetics, hairsprays, creams and other beauty products can affect gemstones, pearls, metals, surface finishes and stringing materials over time. Make jewellery the final thing you put on when getting ready — and one of the first things you remove at the end of the day.

NEVER SLEEP...

...with your jewellery on.

Make the small effort to remove it and return it to its pouch or box, where it can safely sleep while you do.

Most of us have fallen asleep awkwardly on a sofa and woken with a numb arm or leg. Something similar happens to jewellery when it spends the night underneath you — although your gemstones won't get pins and needles.

Chains can become tangled or stretched, settings can be placed under unnecessary pressure, earrings can bend, and gemstones or polished surfaces can rub against one another and become scratched or damaged.

And please, never sleep wearing earrings. Apart from being uncomfortable, sleeping in them can place unnecessary pressure on posts, fittings, settings and the jewellery itself.

DROPS AND FALLS...

...can be equally unforgiving.

Natural gemstones should never be assumed to be indestructible — not even diamonds. Gemstones may contain internal characteristics, inclusions, cleavage planes or existing microscopic fractures. A hard impact can cause chipping, cracking or, in unfortunate circumstances, complete breakage.

Bathroom tiles, stone floors, concrete and asphalt are particularly unforgiving surfaces.

A LITTLE COMMON SENSE GOES A LONG WAY

Remove jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising or using household chemicals. Handle pieces with clean hands and store them separately whenever possible, particularly pieces containing gemstones, pearls or delicate surfaces.

Fine jewellery is made to be worn and enjoyed, not hidden away. A little thoughtful care simply helps ensure that a favourite piece remains a favourite for many years to come.
